Genevieve Hudson is the author of the novel Boys of Alabama, which was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award, named an Okra Pick from the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance, and received praise from Apple Books, Esquire, NBC News, Oprah Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and other places. Their other books include the memoir-hybrid A Little in Love with Everyone, and Pretend We Live Here: Stories, which was a Lambda Literary Award finalist.

Their work has appeared in Elle, Oprah Magazine, LA Review of Books, McSweeney’s, Tin House, Catapult, No Tokens, Bookforum, Bomb, Lit Hub, and Electric Literature. They've received fellowships from MacDowell, the Fulbright Program, Caldera Arts, and the Vermont Studio Center. They live in Portland, Oregon and teach Creative Writing in the MFA Program at Antioch University, Los Angeles.
